Junior Ranger: Women’s Rights National Historical Park - Wooster In-Person

Come explore the historic Seneca Falls Convention of 1848. Over 150 years ago, 300 women and men came together in central New York to discuss the struggle for equal rights for women. The convention helped plant the seeds for the women’s suffrage (right to vote) movement and now it is a National Historical Park. We’ll learn about famous figures like Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Frederick Douglass as well as the Quaker and Haudenosaunee influences. After completing this hands-on program, participants will earn a certificate and junior ranger badge. Registration for ages 8 - 12 begins June 1. In the Story Time Room.
