Gyotaku Fish Prints - Wooster In-Person
How did fishermen record their trophy catches before the invention of photography? In the 1800s Japanese fisherman brought rice paper, ink, and paintbrushes on their boats with them to do just that. Come learn about the Gyotaku (gyo = fish, taku = rubbing) art form and make your own print to take home. Ages 3 and up.
