Shreve Brown's Lake Bog Nature Walk with The Nature Conservancy In-Person

Join library staff and presenters from The Nature Conservancy at the Brown’s Lake Bog Preserve for a guided 1-mile nature walk. Brown’s Lake Bog is a 100-acre glacial relic wetland and kettle lake conserved 53 years ago because of its high-quality wetlands and rare habitat. Learn about the plants and animals that call the bog and your backyard home! We will meet at the trailhead. Please wear appropriate clothing as the nature walk will be held rain or shine. It is recommended that participants bring their own water bottles, insect repellant, and sunscreen. The trail is flat but inaccessible to strollers or wagons. All ages are encouraged to participate. Registration required.

Brown's Lake Bog Preserve is located at the intersection of Brown and Aylsworth Roads in Shreve.
